Taking a walk around 54th street, I spotted the Warwick New York Hotel. Apparently American newspaper publisher, William Randolph Hearst commissioned the hotel…
Check out the history about this iconic hotel from Warwick Hotel’s website:
Staying at Warwick New York Hotel is to be in the centre of everything and to be a part of something bigger. When newspaper giant William Randolph Hearst commissioned this luxury hotel for his love, Marion Davies, he created what has become Midtown Manhattan’s refined jewel. At the time, it was an immediate hit with high-society guests and was even used by Paramount Pictures as a headquarters for stars who were filming in the city. Today, it sits opposite the Museum of Modern Art, mere blocks from Central Park and the best attractions, and exudes European elegance and vintage charm.
