On March 15 I visited my 20th country… Argentina!
In Argentina, I was excited to hear our tour guide speak Spanish. She spoke Spanish with the same accent as my Spanish teacher from Uruguay. Therefore, I could understand her very well. Meanwhile in Santiago Chile, the first destination in our RTW, when we first arrived, it was very difficult to understand people. They spoke fast and it wasn’t very clear to me.
We took a day trip from Puerto Natales Chile to El Calafate Argentina. The road trip took about 5 hours one way. So we spent a lot of the time in a van.
Here’s a video showing the Perito Moreno glacier which is what most people go to El Calafate to see. I also included segments of crossing the borders and driving because that’s what we spent most of the day doing.
Thanks for watching! I like hearing from you! Leave a comment below 🙂
