On our wine tour in Mendoza Argentina, we visited Catena Zapata, Belasco de Baquedano, and the last winery was Bodega Norton. For me, the interesting part about visiting this winery was the fact that I had seen Norton wine in grocery stores back in Florida so seeing where it was made was cool!
When we arrived at the winery, they gave out glasses of sparkling wine while we waited for our tour guide.
The tour guide we had spoke the best English out of the guides at the other wineries we went to and as much as I was getting tired of learning about wine, she was very informative.
This winery is very industrial and we could see the difference between the other wineries.
Another difference is they have people separate grapes by hand!
While walking, we stopped at several stations for wine tasting. Meanwhile I tried to take some pictures at the cellar, but it was way too dark.
And Bodega Norton is on Facebook and Twitter! Which is always a good sign. Though there is no internet at the winery.
This concludes our wine tour in Mendoza Argentina. Here’s a list of blog posts about the wineries we visited in Mendoza:
