Pictures are great but sometimes you need a little sound and movement to really get a feel of what’s going on at a single moment. That’s what I love about Vine, the 6 second video sharing app. It’s like an extended Instagram picture!
During my travels, I like to capture certain moments in Vine videos, so here are the ones from my trip to Barbados.
From the airport to our hotel took about 45 minutes. Along the way, we passed by Sandy Lane Resort’s golf course. Sandy Lane is the most famous (and expensive!) hotel on the island. School was just over at that time of day, so kids were walking with their school uniforms!
We got to the hotel, The Fairmont Royal Pavilion. And here’s a 6 second room tour!
One thing that a picture doesn’t capture is sound! It was dark but you can still hear the waves from the balcony of the hotel room.
The next morning, we took a tour with Glory Tours and the first stop was at Harrison’s Cave.
And then a stop at the Flower Forest Botanical Gardens…
And at Bathsheba Beach…
After the tour, we went to a fishing village, Oistins. This is the place to be on Friday nights and there are plenty of dinner options. On my plate: mahi-mahi and macaroni bake…
Afterwards it was time to check in and get some work done. It’s really enjoyable to work in this perfect night time workspace.
And lastly, listening to the waves again!
